Contrary to what the photo may lead you to believe, I'm not a ghost. I'm a professional photographer based in the greater NYC area.
I've been shooting photos professionally for almost five years now, but have been taking pictures as a hobby since I was a kid. I've always loved photography for the simple reason that you have the ability to capture a single moment in time. Just a fraction of a second in life can be frozen for eternity. I've always thought there was something fascinating about that. I started out taking some photos of friends, and all the usual things like that, and once I got a little more confident behind the camera, I started doing portrait work for models, musicians, and anyone else who just wanted a picture taken! Since then, my eye has guided my lens to other things, such as travel photos, and - most recently - to advertorial, and studio work.
